Bollywood actors and power couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan put speculations to rest on Wednesday by confirming that the two are indeed expecting their second child together.
While the Indian media was already buzzing since morning regarding the news, the couple confirmed the reports by issuing an official statement, “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support.”
With the couple’s first born Taimur Ali Khan already being a media darling, it wasn’t a surprise that the announcement of baby #2 took social media by storm as several media outlets reported the biggest news in the entertainment world.
Interestingly, the news coincides with the birthday of Sara Ali Khan, Saif’s daughter with his first wife Amrita Singh with whom he also has a son named Ibrahim.
On the work front, Kareena who was last seen in the movie Good Newwz is currently working on Lal Singh Chaddha opposite Aamir Khan while husband Saif will soon be seen in a web series Dili and Bunty Aur Bubli 2 opposite Rani Mukerji.
