Five Shows That We’d Love To See Get Remade

by Ahmed Gaffar Moon

It’s those 90’s and 00’s shows that we miss, because of how strongly we could relate to the characters and their day to day lives, which makes us wonder sometimes what Rachel Green from friends was up to and many other iconic roles from the past.

Reboots are notoriously tricky, compared to starting a new series since they can’t be too close the originals or be too different either because then what’s the point? Maintaining a balance between these two can be a tough job. All reboots will not necessarily do justice so we’ll leave them off the list.

Friends

It would be a good idea to make a remake of Friends with all the kids that were born during the TV show such Emma, Phoebe’s triplets, Monica and Chandler’s twins. How cool would it be to see if they could all end up as roommates just like their parents and then of course their parents would make guest appearances too.

That ‘70’s show

Well, what happened in the 80’s or the 90’s. We are curious to find out. Are you? Even though the 80’s and 90’s weren’t too different but we would get to see three different generations clash and that would make the narrative way more interesting.

One Tree Hill

At this point, many of the One Tree Hill characters have probably settled into their marriages and it would definitely be entertaining to find out what excitement they have in their lives since back in the day it was full of drama and exhilaration.

The Office

It’s the reliable comfort re-watch for thousands and the demand for a remake is always drifting on the air, a whisper in the heart of every Jim and Pam’s shipper and no other work place can be on The Office’s level so it’s time for everyone from the office to get back together and make us crack up again, right?

Felicity

Its been 20 years since the show first premiered but deep down I guess we all miss Felicity and her college life.  And oh how can we forget her famous pixie cut in the second episode of season two. The haircut had such a pop culture impact that every time someone changed their hairstyle it was known as “pulling a felicity”.
