Five Bad Guys People Loved More Than The Hero

by Hafsa Tariq

We often get so addicted to a TV show or a movie that we forget about the main characters and secretly start to like the villain instead, because why not?

There have been quite a few times where the story line of a villain is more appealing than the hero itself. To honor a few such iconic characters who everybody kind of secretly felt bad for and ended up liking, here we are listing down a few.

Jaime Lannister (Game of Thrones)

Jaime Lannister has to be on top of the list, because we never thought that the kingslayer of Westeros would ever be among our favourites. He later proved us wrong and developed his character in such a way that we didn’t just like him but rather fell in love with Jamie and cried our hearts out with him

Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter)

Sure, he was an annoying little blonde who everyone wanted to punch in the face Like Hermione did, but deep down we all felt pity for him, because he never really wanted to work for Voldemort and was secretly good inside. The only reason he became a death eater was to please his father.

Negan (The Walking Dead)

Although he did smash a few heads, people thought of him as one heck of a crazy person, secretly we all felt that he was a total badass and was not purely evil. Well, love him or hate him one can simply not ignore him.

Theon Greyjoy (Game of Thrones)

Another GOT side character turned villain turned hero. A character such perfectly written, from not caring about him to hating him so much that we felt like killing him and to loving and crying for him. Theon’s character has to be one of the greatest characters ever written in the TV history.

Loki (Marvel Universe)

Loki the God of mischief, even when he is wearing the bad guy Jersey, he has quite a few times brought the avengers together and played the hero. Not to forget the time he saved the universe in Thor: Ragnarok . Even if he is the bad guy people still loves to hate him.
