Eid celebration is a tale of a sweet affair both to the emotion and the teeth in the memory albums somewhere. Every Eid comes up with a dessert of memory one would later say ‘we had this on eid’.

Dessert is an important component of Eid. Either Meaty or Meethi, they have to meet the ‘Meetha’ (dessert) to conclude the festival. Just like the tradition itself is a sweet affair of joy, laughter, happiness, and dessert.
Wrapped up in layers of cream and grained nuts churning inside the mouth devouring the taste of desserts is how we remember Eid. So here it is Eid round the corner and you need to try these must-have dessert recipes.

Shahi Tukra
The must-have for Eid- the ShahiTukra. A mildly fried goldish bread drowning in the thick and rich cardamom syrup and sweet milk mixture is what a Shahi Tukra is. With these loaded ingredients no wonder why they call it the Mughal recipe.

Sheer Korma
The night before Eid (chandraat) includes mincing and crushing of nuts for another must-have that is Sheer Korma
The Sheer Korma also sits up front on the Eid trolly. It’s an off white colored dessert with its basic ingredients being milk and dates crammed with different other nuts and vermicelli.

Gajar ka Halwa
The reddish-brown colored gajar ka halwa is a delight to the mouth and melts as soon as it is in there. Made with delicious and juicy carrots paired with nuts and the organic ghee is enough to savor your desi cravings. Gajar ka halwa is served both hot and cold according to the likes of the consumer.
