The cliché encompasses everything you hopeless romantics want in a love story, from the clique of Omgs’, to a love triangle, to the narrative of the lead actressanswering, ‘Where do you see yourself in the next five years?’ for her college applications.
Let’s not forget an airport scene! What love story is complete without one good looking man ditching his flight to run after the woman of his dreams.

If one Jacob Elordiwasn’t a good enough reason to watch the movie, imagine two of them.
The second love interest in this sequel is played by ‘Taylor Perez,’I’m just surprised my mac didn’tgive me a heat warning! After Salvatore brothers from ‘The Vampire Diaries’, if there’s one on screen duo that got our hearts racing, were these two boys!
From former hottie with brains to carefree Marco with vocals better than Troy Bolton, Elle Evans has to be the luckiest girl on this planet to have the options she does! For now, we can just daydream about being eternally stuck in a love triangle with these 2 ‘snacks’ for men.
Killer dance routines
If god gave awards for being adorable then these two childhoodbest friends; Elle and Lee, going to the arcade would win without a second’s doubt! Take dirty dancing (the PG version), take DUFF, combine the two and you have ‘The Kissing Booth’!
The upgrade from the first movie is definitely due to its killer dance routines! What better way to bond to a person than through the art of dance? If you’re looking for a teeny and preppy replacement for Step Up, this is the movie for you!
Relationship therapy for free:
One of the underlying themes of the movie apart from Elle and Lee’s friendship, are the challenges of a long-distance relationship. With social distancing, the only ones enjoying the company of their better halves are the married lot. Lucky them! but for the other side the grass isn’t greener.
So,if you’re someone who’s currently in a long distance with a friend or a partner, the movie is basically all the therapy sessions you two need! It beautifully highlights the hurdles one has to face and ways to tackle them. It also instills this idea of acceptance in their audience; that nothing comes easy ‘with different zip codes’ and that, that is okay!
