OUR FAVORITE MOMENTS FROM PSL 7 CLOSING CEREMONY

Qalandars put up a brilliant performance to overthrow Sultans by 42 runs and bag their first Pakistan Super League title in seven years. Closing Ceremony of HBL PSL7 held last night at the glittering Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Before the commencement of the final match between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans, Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja revealed the shimmering PSL 7 trophy in the presence of the excited fans during the closing ceremony.

Eyes on the Prize

The best part of the event was bringing the PSL7 trophy in the ground by none other than World’s Best Drifter Abdo Feghali aka Dado who has played a part in numerous Red Bull Car Park Drift competitions.

Dado drifted his way from the historic place of Lahore Fort to the Gaddafi Stadium covering the city’s historical splendor in a distinctive style along the route. Yet, the drifting act was performed in a safe environment and this marks the milestone for motorsport community in Pakistan.

Even though Pakistan Super League is finally over and the Lahore Qalandars have been crowned as champions for the first time in seven years. But, a hug between the captains Muhamamd Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi at the end of the final revealed to everyone why people are so emotionally invested in this league.
