Emily in Paris is probably Netflix’s idea of taking us away for a romantic summer getaway to the scenic European city, through our screens while being stuck at home during the pandemic. Starring Lily Collins, the series is all about fashion, romance, the beautiful streets of Paris, and everything that happens when an American marketing executive tries to do luxury PR the Parisian way.
Love in Paris?
Well if you are in the city of love and you do not fall in love, are you even doing Paris right? That is exactly what Emily does in Paris, there are a few love triangles amongst the lead characters, and it is captivating and fun to watch how they develop throughout the series. Emily’s relationship with the heartthrob of the series Gabriel has us on our toes throughout the series.
Emily’s very good looking neighbor
If you don’t fall head over heels for him the moment he opens the door for Emily, you sure will be crushing over his ‘Enchante’. The very handsome Lucas Bravo who plays the role of Gabriel has instantly become the new internet boyfriend and it is not hard to see why. Gabriel happens to be Emily’s primary love interest on the show but there’s a big twist there for which you’ll have to watch the show.
Paris and Fashion
While watching the show, every episode will make you fall in love with the city. The bustling streets, shimmering Eiffel tower, and the beautiful view from Emily’s apartment will make you want to dress up, wear your finest heels, and stroll around the city. Speaking of dressing up, the show is also getting a lot of attention for its fashion quotient spearheaded by stylist Patricia Field, making the outfits fit for the contemporary IT girl while finding the right blend of Parisian and American street style.
Friendship
Moving to Paris and starting a new job, did cost Emily to leave her whole life behind, but it isn’t long before she becomes friends with two girls, Mindy and Camille, who are there for Emily through thick and thin. Their friendship grows smoothly along the way, and by the looks of it, you can tell they had fun while filming it.

Well now, if this Audrey Hepburn lookalike is not reason enough for you to watch this silly rom-com then you are missing out on a lot. We cannot see another better person for the role of Emily other than Lilly, with her grace and passion for fashion, Lilly has won the hearts of thousands for how well she has played the role.
