Have you noticed an increase in hair loss recently? Are you worried you are losing too much hair and your hair is thinning? Don't panic! Hair loss is normal, but there are a few ways for you to prevent it. These tips are not only easy, but they also barely require much effort and can make a huge difference.

Increase Protein In Diet

To prevent hair loss, changing your diet is essential. Eating foods that are high in protein such as eggs, beans, milk, cheese, nuts etc are beneficial. There are high chances that many of us have nutritional deficiencies, which not only makes our hair weaker, but increases our hair fall. By increasing our intake of protein, we can expect healthier hair and reduced hair fall.

Use Coconut Oil

knowledge that applying oil to your hair has many advantages, but specifically applying coconut oil can help prevent hair loss. Coconut oil contains lauric acid that protects your hair from breaking or being further damaged. But when coconut oil is applied to the scalp, it can increase hair growth. Therefore, you should apply coconut oil to your scalp at least 2-3 times a week.

Use Onion Water

As gross as it may sound, onion water might just be what you need. It has several anti-bacterial properties which make your hair healthier by removing germs that can cause infections that lead to hair loss. Onion water also has a large concentration of sulfur which is beneficial for your hair follicles. This helps with hair loss as it improves your hair growth and the blood circulation in your scalp.

Avoide Chemical Treatments

Almost all of us love to style our hair, it can either be curling, straightening, or even dyeing it. Applying heat to your hair or changing its colour can be extremely harmful to the quality of your hair. Chemical treatments such as perms, keratin or re-bonding are far worse and should not be done regularly. You should  try and take a break from any chemical treatments for a few months every year and for sometime, even avoid putting heat to your hair. This gives you the time to help your hair become healthy again, which protects it from hair loss.

Yoga, Reading, and Relaxation

One of the main causes for hair loss is stress. Many of us are stressed all the time, either because of our work, our children, our parents, school or even friends. Taking time out of your day to relax and be at peace can be extremely helpful as it will not only reduce your stress but prevent your hair loss at the same time.

Green Tea Rinse

Green tea enhances your hair production, which is exactly what you need to prevent hair loss. Rinsing your hair with green tea several times a week will improve your hair growth, making it up for all the hair that you’ve lost in the past!
