4 Homemade Hair Masks for Healthier Hair

Being at home, we have all the time in the world to make sure our beauty treatments are done right. Usually in our busy schedules we don’t get the time to pamper ourselves but no excuses now! On a regular we tend to damage our hair, whether its by blowdrying it or by not conditioning it enough, here are 4 super easy DIY hair masks we can make during this #quarantine period and make our hair come ALIVE again!

Coconut Moisturising Mask

Process:
1. Mix 1/4 cup of coconut milk and 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil (or more for very dry hair).
2. Carefully comb through hair, paying special attention to the ends.
3. Wrap head in a warm towel for 20 minutes, then rinse.

Honey Yogurt Mask

Process:
1. Place 2 Tblsp. of yogurt in small bowl.
2. Gently warm 1 Tbslp. of honey and 1 Tblsp. of olive oil in a small sauce pan to incorporate (do not overheat. Pour mixture over greek yogurt and stir until completely mixed.
3. Apply mask to hair working up from your ends and making sure to massage into your scalp to stimulate circulation.
4. Rinse after 30-45 min.

CocoCinna Hair Mask

Process:
1. Mix 1 tablespoon of Coconut Oil andn 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl, and make sure they are mixed well.
2. Part your hair down the center and start by applying it down the part and on your scalp.
3. Use your fingertips to massage the product into your scalp.
4. Tie your hair up and cover with a shower cap or a towel
5. Let this mask sit for 30-45 minutes and then rinse with your regular shampoo and conditioner.

Brown Sugar + Olive Oil Hair Mask

Process:
1. Mix 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of olive oil together into a bowl
2. Apply to your hair from top to bottom
3. Let the mask sit on your hair for 15-20 minutes
4. Rinse.
