Welcome to Atul Kocchar’s latest venture Essence at The Pantiles in partnership with Jitindar Singh.  Based in the historic colonnades  of Royal Tunbridge Wells, UK the stunning new restaurant offers a traditional pan Indian cuisine with a british touch.

Atul is no stranger to the world of dining, a trailblazer with a phenomenal career spanning over three decades.  His stardom began in 2001 with him becoming the first Indian chef to earn a Michelin star, followed by a second Michelin starin 2007.  Atul is a prominent figure in the world of glitz and glam and his skills as a chef is celebrated by many all over the world.

Essence by Pantiles is beautiful new restaurant which caters to all.  It’s menuoffers a varied range of meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes.  The options of desserts are even more jaw dropping, finishing with a great selection of teas and coffees.

It’s hard to say no, even when you full to the top, a taste of desserts and coffee is an absolute must!

Essence Kebab Platter: includes  a selection of kebabs, chargrilled king prawns, lamp chops, mustard salmon, lehsuni malai tikka, tulsi chicken with baby leaf.  It’s a great option for those who would like to try a bit of everything.

Dal Makhani: known for it’s creamy rich texture is a great option for vegetarian lovers.

Gosht Ki Biriyani bathed in rich masala, tender pieces of lamb cooked with saffron basmati rice with salan and raita, just the perfect blend.

Green Chilli Pakoda: Stuffed jalapeno, deep fried with spice gram flour batter, a favourite amongst many and absolute must try.
