It isn’t your typical Bollywood movie, rather it is a bittersweet comedy of self-discovery. And plus point it does have the perfect soundtrack for you and your girl gang to dance off to.

My Best Friend’s Wedding

The million dollar smile queen, Julia Roberts was at the height of her career when this movie released. As the name suggests it is about Julianne’s played by Julia Roberts best friend Michael’s engagement to Kimberly. And it was only then when she realized, that she has been in love with Michael for years. It’s a recipe for disaster, all culminating in a dramatic car chase and at least one damaged relationship. 27 Dresses

This movie was probably the most hyped movie of all time during the mid-2000’s. With Katherine Heigl in the lead role, you can guess by the name of the movie that she was “Always a bridesmaid, never the bride”. The movie revolves around how Jane (Heigl) remains single herself, but as destiny would have it she gets involved with a writer (James Marsden) who is covering her sister’s upcoming wedding, but things take a turn when they both get tangled up in each other’s life a little too much.

Early 2000s was the time when some of the best romantic comedies were made. Bride Wards is a movie about two best friends who have sworn to do everything together since they were little find themselves in a difficult situation when they both decide to get married during the same time. With each other as their maids of honor. There is a slight error which results in their weddings being booked for the same day, at the same place, resulting in the ultimate test of friendship.
