Treat Acne with Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil fights acne-causing bacteria and reduces inflammation, two factors that trigger acne.

Mix one-part tea tree oil with nine-parts water. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, pat it dry and apply the mixture on acne spots with a cotton swab. Allow your face to dry and apply your daily moisturizer. For best results, apply once daily.

Apply a Honey and Cinnamon Mask
Honey and cinnamon have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial properties, which are beneficial for acne-prone skin.

Mix 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together to form a paste. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, pat it dry and apply the paste to your face. Leave the mask on for 10–15 minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water.

Moisturize with Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera Gel helps fight bacteria, reduce inflammation and promote wound healing.

Use a spoon to scoop out the gel from an aloe vera plant. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, pat it dry and apply the gel directly to clean skin as a moisturizer. For best results, apply twice daily.

Apply Green Tea to your Skin
Green tea is high in antioxidants that help fight inflammation, reduce sebum production and inhibit the growth of acne-causing bacteria.

Steep green tea in boiling water for 3-4 minutes and allow it to cool. Use a cotton ball to apply green tea to your skin or pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray it on your face. Allow your face to dry and rinse with water. For best results, use twice daily.

Exfoliate with Sugar and Coconut Oil Scrub
Exfoliation is believed to improve acne by removing the old skin cells that clog up pores. Sugar helps get rid of dead cells and coconut oil is a natural emollient with antibacterial properties.

Mix equal amounts of sugar and coconut oil together to form a paste. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, pat it dry and a scrub with the paste for 3-4 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. For best results, use once daily.

Before applying any of these products on your skin, be sure to do a patch test on your arm. If there’s itchiness or redness do not continue using the product.
