A huge shout out to all the Pakistani musicians who blessed our ears with meaningful tracks as people across the globe appreciate it and have them saved in their playlists other than the albums that are released as separates.

Yaqeen ka Safar

A powerful serial requires a powerful OST. It was sung by none other than the queen Hadiqa Kiani herself. Her powerful vocals did justice to the lyrics. The song takes us on a journey that no matter how hard it is right now, there is always hope at the end of the tunnel.  How each of us has a different timeline and we should trust our timing and not belittle it as every individual is on their expedition.

Alif

The song highlights the fact that we are nothing, and material won`t take us anywhere. The attachment we have with this world is a hindrance and we won`t ever be able to connect with our Lord. However, if we rely only on our connection with God then surely we are to take a spiritual dive into an unknown mystic world.

Shehr-e-zaat

Words fall short to describe this masterpiece. Abida Parveen conveying a strong message with her soulful vocals that God is everywhere, His signs are there for us to witness His Perfection. This song is glorifying the existence of the Mighty Being, in all there is to this creation and beyond. This OST got everyone hooked to it for  all the right reasons.

Udaari

Udaari`s OST has a special place in our hearts. The lyrics were penned down by Imran Raza and the music was composed by Sahir Ali Bagga. The song itself is a tale about a beautiful love story and how the two partners find it difficult to live without each other.

Main Abdul Qadir Hun

The song takes us on a journey of how confused we are as individuals and how we fail to understand our own self that leads us to doubts and confusion. It signifies how life is not easy and tests and trials in it will shake us to our core but staying on the right path and Lord`s given instructions will not lead us astray rather leaving ourselves to our own will leave us astray.

Humsafar

QB is a powerhouse, the romantic lyrics and her soothing voice made it a nationwide addiction! She deserves all our love and appreciation for this. This song signifies what could have been than what actually is. How two individuals are paired together in a trial and error relationship and are trying to figure things out. This OST highlights the importance of loyalty and trust in a relationship.

Zindagi Gulzar Hai

The ost sung by both Ali Zafar is a soulful song that highlights the fact no matter what your struggles are, there are good days ahead and life is all about living and moving on rather than staying one track and making ourselves feel miserable over it. The journey might not be easy so trying is better than having regrets.

Pyarey Afzal

Songs like these give us hope that we are not alone with our trials and not everyone is lucky with getting what they want. Some get it easily some have to run errands for it and some might never get it but at the end of the day it is all right.

Mere Paas Tum Ho

It`s highly unlikely for one to listen to this song and not connect to it. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan did a phenomenal job with this one. How beautifully he depicts an emotion rollercoaster of love and betrayal. How easily innocence can be used against you and remaining patient in such testing times can be tough because cannot help but feel helpless.

Baaghi

This ost beautifully portrays how each girl has her dreams and wants to pursue it but due to cultural barriers, she cannot. But those barriers make her stronger in achieving them rather than restricting her. Too many constraints on any individual might make them rebellious; this song is giving us an insight to these very cultural traits.
