The supermodel who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik addressed questions regarding pregnancy and shared a little surprise with fans during an Insta live
Back in April, Supermodel Gigi Hadid was rumored to be expecting a baby with partner Zayn Malik. Gigi then confirmed the same on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Since then, Gigi has been largely private with her pregnancy journey. However, she took to Instagram Live this week to show off her Gigi Journal Part Two collaboration with V Magazine and she also showed off her figure – giving us a glimpse of her baby bump! She also explained the reason she’s been keeping the pregnancy talk to a minimum.
In the video, Gigi explains; “I’m pregnant through a pandemic. Obviously, my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world. That’s a reason that I felt that it’s not something that I really need to share, apart from with my family and friends.”

“There’s my belly y’all,” she said, before adding that she doesn’t always look pregnant in her photos because “from the front it’s different”. Gigi also shared her gratitude, “I really appreciate your positive messages,” she continued. “I’m just taking my time with sharing my pregnancy.”
She also addressed those who troll her for not posting more about her future baby with Zayn Malik. “That’s a reason that I felt that it’s not really something that I need to share apart from with my family and friends.
Obviously, a lot of people have lost lives due to [the] coronavirus that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening. And then we moved obviously into the reemergence of the BLM movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that.”
