Do NOT shower with hot water

Another factor is that if the water is too hot, and you shampoo your hair, this will result in your hair losing its natural oils from the scalp, leaving your hair dry and frizzy. Thus always try to keep the temperature of your water neutral, not too hot and not too cold either.
